AES-256-GCM encryption
Your database credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. A unique initialisation vector is generated for every operation.
Zero-knowledge option
Upload your RSA-4096 public key and each backup is envelope-encrypted with a unique DEK. Only you hold the private key — we can never read your data.
TLS 1.2+ in transit
All connections — database dumps, API calls, internal services — are encrypted in transit. No exceptions.
11 nines durability
Backups are stored on Backblaze B2 with 99.999999999% durability, encrypted with AES-256-GCM before upload, and replicated across multiple drives.
